Lead Advisor​​

Dr. Andrew Mock is a board-certified physician practicing family, preventive, lifestyle, and obesity medicine. His journey to medicine began with his own health challenges, earning his GED after leaving high school, and supporting his father through esophageal cancer. These experiences taught him the power of lifestyle medicine in shaping health and wellbeing and reflect the perseverance and drive that continue to guide his career.

At Loma Linda University, he served as Clerkship Director for Preventive Medicine and Population Health, physician lead for the Lifestyle Medicine Residency Curriculum, and Medical Director of the Center for Health Promotion. He also directed the Street Medicine program and introduced remote patient monitoring to connect daily health behaviors with long-term outcomes.

A four-time California’s Strongest Man, professional strongman athlete, and owner of H.O.T. Barbell Club in Redlands, he has coached multiple national and world champion athletes while fostering an inclusive community gym. Today, Dr. Mock is the Medical Lead of Hoag Compass and Lead Clinical Advisor for the MRF Institute, where he helps individuals, clinicians, and communities grow stronger together.  Additionally, Dr. Mock represents the American College of Lifestyle Medicine as a member of the Board of Directors for the Physical Activity Alliance and the American Medical Association's House of Delegates. He also serves on the Board of Directors for the Medical Fitness Association (MFA) and chairs the MFA's Physician Advisory Council.
